September 1988
AQUARESE INDUSTRIES was created in the Pas-de-Calais area (North of France) by 3 ENSAM Graduates (from the National engineering college of "Arts et Métiers"); Patrick Dargent, the current Managing Director, was one of them.
To start with, AQUARESE’s activities focused on the cutting-out service for various decorative materials such as mosaic, tiles, etc.
High-pressure water-jet was then at starting phase process in the industrial sector. The founders were led to design their own water-jet cutting-out machine to match the requirements of their very first orders. Then, engineering became the major activity.
1990 - 1998
AQUARESE developed its niche activities.
AQUARESE cut almost all the armouring parts of Leclerc tanks and developed its engineering activities in various other sectors:
- medicine with a water bistoury
- the food processing industry with the cutting-out of portions
- the nuclear industry dismantling operations
- the automobile industry with the 3D cutting-out of sound-damping parts, etc.
From 1998 on
AQUARESE has confirmed its expert status in the engineering of specialized installations integrating high-pressure water-jet technology and automation. It is well known for its capacity to innovate.
Its activities have developed in two major sectors: the automobile industry (engines and bodies)and the aircraft industry.
To support its development, the firm moved to new (2,500m²) premises, located in Billy-Berclau, near Lens (62).
In 18 years, AQUARESE has designed and produced over 120 machines which are still producing in various parts of the world.
